Marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities The “Friend for a Friend 2024” project is run by the “URBAN RIGHTS” organisation from Belgrade. In cooperation with the Resource Centre, collections of selected literary works by primary-school students from Belgrade were printed: “Đorđe Krstić” Primary School, “Josif Pančić” Primary School, “Stefan Dečanski” Primary School, “Svetislav Golubović Mitraljeta” Primary School and the “Veljko Ramadanović” School for Visually Impaired Students. The collections are also adapted for students with visual impairments, as they were printed in Braille over the visual text. On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a visit to our school was organised for students from “Đorđe Krstić” Primary School and “Svetislav Golubović Mitraljeta” Primary School.

Printing was completed of the adapted publication “A Primer of Inclusive Education” for blind and partially sighted students, created within the project “Improved equal access to and completion of pre-university education for children requiring additional educational support – We Learn Together”, implemented by the Ministry of Education and UNICEF with the support of the European Union.

Providing expert support to an 8th-grade student of the “Ljupče Španac” Primary School from Bela Palanka. A meeting was held with the teachers and the principal of the school from Bela Palanka. Adapted teaching material was provided and the assistive technology available at the Resource Centre was presented.
